David Nassim

“This Immediacy” is David’s expression of “radical” non-duality that directly refers to the simplicity of ‘just this’. Through open dialogue and discussion the meetings during the residential are a forum to an exploration into the assumptions that shape our sense of being a separate individual and expose the simplicity and completeness of ‘what is’ already.

Naturally and unintentionally, there is nothing in David’s sharing that offers anything at all to the apparent ‘seeker’: no spiritual path, philosophy, or method is on offer. Rather, there is just a description or openness to “this immediacy” – without concepts, beliefs, identity, or the stories associated with a “me” – our utterly illusory but apparent personal “centre”.

The residential and “This Immediacy” meetings will resonate with those open to Non-Duality, Advaita Vedanta, Buddhism, or anyone on the spiritual search, while remaining accessible to anyone with a curiosity about (no)self and “reality”. There is no practice or experience required, nor a process of any kind to become something different in these meetings. There is, however, a possibility of an opening to the freedom and completeness that is already there, if the search itself, or seeking, apparently melts/ relaxes/ collapses.

David’s meetings are characterised by openness, humour, warmth, and a “remembering” of the extraordinary simplicity that lies in plain sight.
